Dental Implants

Permanent, natural-feeling solution for missing teeth

Dental Implants

Overview

A dental implant is a titanium screw placed into the jawbone to replace a missing tooth root. Titanium is one of the most biocompatible materials available; over time it integrates with the bone (osseointegration), creating a solid foundation for a natural-looking crown.

At Klinik Dental every implant case is planned digitally with 3D tomography. Nerves, sinuses and other anatomical structures are mapped millimetre by millimetre; a surgical guide is used to position the implant in the safest possible site. This makes the procedure predictable, fast and comfortable.

We offer solutions ranging from a single missing tooth to full edentulism (All-on-4 / All-on-6). Unlike a conventional bridge, neighbouring healthy teeth are not ground down; chewing forces are transmitted naturally to the bone, slowing long-term bone resorption.

The brands we use (Straumann, Nobel Biocare, Astra Tech and similar) are FDA- and CE-certified and come with a lifetime manufacturer warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the implant procedure painful?

No. Surgery is performed under local anaesthesia and typically takes 30–60 minutes. You will feel no pain during the procedure; most patients manage recovery with simple painkillers.

How long is the full treatment?

Surgery is completed in a single session. The implant then needs about 2–3 months to integrate with the bone. A temporary tooth is placed in the meantime. Overall the process takes 2 to 4 months depending on your case.

Is there an age limit?

Implants can be placed in any patient whose jaw growth is complete (usually 18+) and whose general health is suitable. There is no upper age limit; we routinely treat patients over 80.

Does smoking affect implants?

Smoking impairs osseointegration and lowers success rates. We strongly recommend stopping smoking for at least one week before and two weeks after surgery.
